Another Reason To Smile!
It has been a week of change at the Smile Foundation with the addition of a new member of the team. We would like to welcome Stephanie Jackson to the fold!
Stephanie joins us from Hull Kingston Rovers in the newly created role of Corporate and Events Fundraiser where she will work alongside Andy in moving the Smile Foundation forward and progressing and developing new projects and strategies.
Stephanie has a wealth of experience working within the charitable sector, having spent the last eight years in the field, firstly as a Teenage Pregnancy Support Worker and then as a Youth Inclusion Coordinator at Hull Kingston Rovers Education and Sport Trust. With a young family of her own, Stephanie strives to make a difference to the lives of people in Hull and East Yorkshire and firmly believes in the ethos of 'giving a voice, building a foundation'.
Upon application for the role, Steph was asked why she felt the job was the right direction for her to move into professionally and responded "I have passion and drive for making a difference and to me the work that i do isnt 'just a job', it is a vocation and somewhere I feel I can make a positive impact on people's lives"
"I have recently completed my first week and have thoroughly enjoyed it although as yet i haven't had much time to think! I prefer a busy working life, it means that we're making a real and positive difference".
We are sure that you will welcome Stephanie to the Smile Foundation and wish her every luck in her career with us.
